Two great fights if they ever come off! I personally think the Klitschko-Arreola fight will be a war while it lasts. Arreola has some serious pop,Klitschko has the whiskers, but,he is 38 years old. Don't be surprised it goes 12,with lots of blood lost. As for Williams-Pavlik,as long as he doesn't get caught,Williams can win the decision. Pavlik has some heavy hands, and,we don't know what a middleweight's pop Williams can take.

I think you should look up the definition of words before typing. Might save you some time. Legacy just means something handed down or passed on. Every fighter has a legacy. Again, nowhere did I say Vitali was the greatest fighter ever, but he is a champion who has never been knocked down and since Lewis retired has pretty much been considered the best HW fighter. It would be good for him to go out with a big name if he is planning on this being his last fight. You know, fight a rival or the next big thing and Arreola isn't that. Also, your incoherent rant just proves my point. People do not think of Vitali as a great heavyweight although he has dominated the division. I dont think Arreola does anything to change peoples minds. Haye might and would at least give Vitali some attention on his way out and make it so his final fight isnt on ESPN Classic at 2 pm in the U.S. I think we can all agree that he deserves better than that. (and yes I know this will not be on ESPNC, just making a point)Originally posted by joe strong View Postwhat legacy? He's made a career of beating fat out of shape guys.peter(30lbs),gomez(natural cw),Williams(270),Johnson(40lbs over),sanders(20lbs over),even lewis was out of shape.his last 2 opponents who were in shape were donald & bean.he had 40 pounds on them.every opponent he's fought since 2002 has been fat & grossly overweight.he's got nothing for a legacy.his resume is clearly nothing close to a great one.his best names lewis & Byrd he lost to.he is the most overrated boxer in years!he beats up out of shape boxers that's it.

Im happy the fight will happen in just 2 months from now rather than have to wait till November. Yeah Vitali just turned 38 but hasn't slowed that much, he is still good enough to dominate the division for another 2 years if he wants. People make to big a deal of his age, but look at Hopkins, still dominating at 44. Plus he is not a shop worn fighter, the only war he was in was against Lewis. He had other fights that were tough, Hoffman, Sanders but they were not wars, so his body hasn't been danmaged to much.

Vitali has less problems with his opponents than with his own damaged body. He may not be worn out by wars in the ring, but torn shoulder, herniated disks, and several operations on the knees show a super-developed body, which was trained beyond the healthy level.
As I said, Arreola is the lesser threat for Vitali now - his rigorous training and aging body might be his worst enemy.

Arreola will be knocked out. Just to name a few reasons why, he is way to slow for the champ. You can compare this fight to Klitschko vs Williams. The way the fight will go and the final result.Originally posted by Phirsole View PostVitali has less problems with his opponents than with his own damaged body.
