Women's figure skating is the most beautiful sport in the planet. But boxing's pretty awesome too. Just not in the same way.

That's a ridiculous statement. Grappling has been around a lot longer than boxing. Do you know what Greco-Roman is? Both sports are great. They both offer different forms of fighting and are exciting and very technical.

In all fairness to grappling I actually dont mind wrestling/judo (stand up grappling)

As crazy as it sounds having some of that clinch strength is good for boxing specially for me I am the smallest guy in are club for now (5'8 145) the other guys are like over 5'11 and over 180 and my boxing coach said some stand up wrestling/judo is actually does me good for getting out of corner or just moving ring bullies around.

But!!!! by NO MEANS!!!! do I wanna roll around in the ground I tried that **** and its very very overrated in mma a good boxer with some clinch strength would wreck shop.

Look at Marcus Davis a boxing low-level turned ufc contender although I like few of them strikers but yeah mma just doesn't do it for me anymore...
          exactly .

I don't know why some people feel the need to label people and themselves as a Boxing Fan or MMA Fan. They are not antithetical, you guys know you can be both right.

Just like you can be an NFL and MLB fan.

Depends on who it is and who they're fighting. Styles make fights. Look at Art Jimmerson. Former NABF light heavyweight champion. had a professional boxing record of like 27 wins 3losses. Dude was a fringe contender on a world scale in boxing and got wrecked by Royce Gracie like he was a walk in the park.

Amen Brother. But i guess people look at it more in terms of either "yankee" or "red sox" fans where you cannot be both as opposed to 2 different sports altogether.

i doubt that very much, Your saying two "people" started wrestling each other and then never threw any punches at one another for many years after wrestling?. Your comment is ridiculous, no human on the planet can be sure when saying "grappling has been around way longer than boxing". For all you know two men may have had an argument 2million years ago and traded blows that is boxing and therefore came before grappling however it could be the other way around but, either way your comment is ****** and ignorant.
