Gatti, Forrest, and the HOF

Both fighters will become eligible for the boxing HOF immediately. Forrest had the better career as far as accomplishments, while Gatti was clearly in the more memorable fights. Should they be in the HOF?

forrest is a shoe in. gatti isnt really, but my guess is he will get inducted due to popular demand.

I agree. Gatti lost to too many journeymen and without Mosley the opponens on Forrest's record look weak. Now that they are deceased both will make it however.

ppl who say forrest shouldnt be inducted should really take a look at the fighters who are there already. hes better skillwise and accomplishment wise than ALOT of them, hes a shoe in. and i said so before he died aswell.

Forrest can make a better case for it. He was the better talent with better accomplishments. But his resume is lacking outside of the Mosley wins. And I thought he got a gift decision against Ike Quartey. Both will probably get in though regardless of what I think.

This is true but there are also a lot of fighters in the HOF that should not be in there IMO.
