Ike was a good talent and i think would have won a belt at some point but he was just insane lol which is a shame, the heavyweight division could have really done with a talent like that in the early to mid 00's.

I'd say otherwise. What really ruined Tua's career was showing up overweight for the Lewis fight and not even making it competitive.

Ibeabuchi went crazy after the Tua fight and didn't fight for a year again.

i actually think Tua's lack of activity from 01-05 did him in....he didnt even fight in 03 or 04 because he was suing his promoter i believe...probably spent more of his prime years in court instead of in the ring

I think we can safely say that Ike "The President" Ibeabuchi is the greatest wasted talent of the heavyweight division. I seriously believe he would beat Lennox Lewis if he really set his mind to it. If he was hungry enough, nobody could stand in his way to the title. But the Tua fight f**ked him up. He is the first man to beat both Tua and Chris Byrd. Think about it.

It's really sad to think that it's now probably too late for him to come back and even if he could, he would only be a shell of his old self most likely.

Ibeabuchi is so overrated on these boards, its pathetic. He had two good wins, and that was against shorter, smaller opponents. No way to say how he would fare against taller, stronger and more talented opposition. The guy doesn't deserve a tribute. He deserves exactly what he got.....a padded cell.

Well Byrd was a good defensive heavyweight and won a title so he couldn't have been that bad as he was the only guy who brutally knocked Byrd out in his prime.
