Can someone fill me in on this David Haye situation?

Wasn't he woofing and hollering about a bout with the Klit brothers, get one, and then back out?

Can someone fill me in on the details as I haven't followed the novela much?

Wasn't it Haye that backed out of the fight?

He had an injury, but now hes fighting Valuev? Instead of backing out completely, why not just postpone, or did he try that already?

Haye backed out of the Wlad fight because of an injury. He didn't so much back out of the Vitali fight because a deal was never agreed. He didn't like Vitali's terms and conditions, which were worse than Wlad's, so he decided to go elsewhere for a fight.

There are su****ions Haye was not injured and the Setanta going bust (who were paying Haye's entire purse) was to blame. Either way, Haye was right to pull out.

He tried to postpone. Wlad wouldn't have any of it and brutally savaged the proven number 3 heavy in the world instead.

Vitali and Haye were then going to get it on but there was fallings out/suspect deals/people going quiet etc etc etc

Next thing we know Haye - Valuev comes out of left field.

Some people think he's fighting Valuev to get his hands on that title of his so that he can have more leverage when it comes to negotiating with the Klitschko brothers.

Pulling out of the Wlad fight for "injury" sounds kind of disgusting, but the stipulations Wlad wanted him to sign in that contract were also equally disgusting. (If Haye beat Wlad, he would then have to fight Vitali, and then Wlad once more. All the while the Klitschko's would've been making money off of him as well, assuming of course he won.)

And I think he's just plain afraid of Vitali.

Thanks for the brief summary. I wasn't sure if he was backing out because he didn't want the fight after all, or the injury was legit, or because of the Klits.

Why would he go into contract negotiations if he wasn't going to fight? Why didn't he go after Valuev before the Klitschko's?

Like I said, the deal Vitali offered was worse than Wlad's.
