Pac is not overrated, but he will not be able to handle an aggressive Cotto that is masterful at cutting off the ring. We'll finally be able to see the Cotto of old now that he is not facing a much larger fighter. What is amazing is that if it wasnt for the cinder blocks Cotto most probably would have been 2-0, via UD mind you, after facing those two larger WWs.

Seeing as Floyd will never fight Cotto the only man at 147 that in the medium-term can (and probably would) defeat him after his victory over Pac is PWill. After Pac I envision a Mosley rematch and then a destruction of Berto.

First of all, I dont see any errors in this fight. (if it happens).

They will both sign the contract means they'll agree and feels that they have a chance to win against the other.

IMO, The catchweight at 145 is a risk for cotto as well as for manny. cotto's weighted at 146 in his last fight while manny weighted at 140.


You should say.. He fought DLH at 147.. Why is it a risk for manny at 145? Manny didnt took a single DLH shot in their Dream Match. If you call those punches DLH's then you dont know who prime DLH is. Same with Hatton. Manny was not yet tested taking a true WW punch.

Cotto is way too powerful at 145 than drained DLH at 147. that is the risk.

Now for cotto.. why is it a risk for cotto at 145? IMO, cotto weighs no 146 now.. he weighted 146 during his weigh-in pre clottey fight. He might be 150+ to 160+ now. So draining to 145 is harder than 146, but not too hard to look like DLH. Meaning to say he can still fight and KO manny.

In conclusion.. I dont see the catchweight to be use as an excuse for both fighters. True warriors dont whine.
