Well, everybodys entitled to their own opinon....but I saw a prime Chavez looking like an amatuer in that fight

Oh, I do agree he made Chavez look silly, but for me what won the fight for Pernell was when he traded with chavez standed hsi ground and beat the **** out of him. Whenhe was on his bike throwing arm pucnhes and slaping jab he didnt look as good!

I have to say, I was genuinely impressed of the pace in which they both fought especially from Whitaker’s end. That said, this is the first time (beside the early and mid rounds of the Meldrick Taylor fight) I’ve seen Chavez so frustrated in figuring out his opponent. I think they robbed Whitaker from this victory and was surprised there was a never a demand for settling the dispute with a rematch.
