If all these fights get made, I honestly hope nobody is on here asking for a stream. Im not even all that excited about JMM-Floyd, and wasnt planning on buying it. If all these fights get made however I cant imagine how to justify not buying it.

They are worried about Floyd bringing in poor numbers. Hence they are loading the card.

It's not that they don't want to, it's that they usually don't.

Cotto-Margarito & DLH-Pacman were by far the biggest (as in hyped-to-death) fights of the year with arguably the 2 worst undercards of the year. That didn't prevent them from selling a ****load of PPV.

Of course, Mayweather Promotions is taking the lead on putting the fights together. They want to make sure the card sells well to give them more negotiation power for a Floyd vs Cotto/Pacman fight.

since mayweather promotions is the lead promoter, i can already see why this happened... i think money or foney, saw that sales are not as good as he claimed to be, and since come fight night, whatever crowd did show up, was going to be a pro marquez crowd, since i cant remember ever hearing a pro-foney crowd, so, to me, he lives off of other fighters popularity, like gatti, dlh, hatton, corrales, castillo, i mean not even baldomir was pro-money, it was booed. Since he noticed the weak sales after the fight he was going to blame the poor gate entrance and ppv numbers on marquez.. so instead he's trying to make himself look better by stacking the undercards with deceant fights, so at the end of the night, that's if this gets him 300k-350k buys and that's a big maybe.. he can still blame it on marquez for not getting 500k, but take credit for deceant numbers.. and besides he wants to get out of the IRS pocket as fast as possible..

Why was De la hoya-Mayweather, Mayweather-Hatton, Cotto-Margarito, Pacquiao-De La Hoya, Pacquiao-Hatton given so ****ty undercards? Because the promoters wanted nothing that would take away from the main event. HBO i believe even said that they dont worry about filling undercards simply because people dont watch.

If they strongly believed this fight would do great numbers they would not put these fights as the undercard.

but da point is why complain about this,so you'd rather them put on 3 crappy undercard fights in hopes floyd could fail and pass on a great night of boxing matches?

Exactly. Who wants to see a hyped main event with three lousy under card fights? Not me.
If the PPV card consisted of three boring fights and a mediocre main event, who will be the first guy to *****? That guy.

Cards should be meaningful. Especially, PPV. Two guys feel slighted they are left out of a tournament that has been getting all the press, Conclusion: Place two said guys in the ring together.

exactly,I've fell asleep a couple of times during the undercards and almost missed the main event at least this time i know i won't ill be mad awake and excited for it.
