    Katsidis is always exciting! Just wish he would work on his defense, then he would be really dangerous.

    Bika vs. Green sounds amazing. I see Bika taking this 1 by K.O

      Nah, man. I've watched it 3 times and this is how I keep having it...

      Code:
      D || 9  | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  || 114
      K || 10 | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 || 114
      ... And I'm a fan of both guys. Kats just came on strong in the second half - enough to edge out that score IMO. Everyone has their own hang-ups about these things, so I don't take too much stock in it (other than Glen Hamada agreeing with me somewhat! )

      He brought a fight - or at least tried his damnest to do so - but his problem was that he couldn't handle a good, sharp counterpuncher in Diaz. Every time he tried to unload, he got countered accurately. After the 7th, though, he turned on the pressure more but still didn't want to let his hands go even against a guy who wasn't/isn't known to punch exceptionally hard.

      But yeah, Kats was pretty ****ty that night. He's been way too gunshy in his last 3 fights. People have this preconception now, expecting him to bring his Earl/Amonsot style, but since that Casamayor check hook (similar to Mayweather-Hatton!) he's probably wary of getting caught again. He shouldn't be, though... his chin isn't that bad.

      I think he's been working hard on it since the aforementioned Diaz fight, and he's slowing getting there. From what I could see, his earmuffs are in the right place and he wasn't getting caught as many times against Chavez. He just needs to fine-tune things and he'll be alright. It's certainly a better defence than Valero's! :laff2:

        If they strongly believed this fight would do great numbers they would not put these fights as the undercard.
        The U/C's suck because the promoters have little money left to pay for better fighters. If a fighter can get a date on HBO for more money obviously they would do that instead of be on an undercard for less dinero.

          Come on bro. You think the mainstream public know who Juarez, Green, Bika, John, Katsidis or Escubedo are? U/C or no U/C this card does the same numbers because everybody is paying to see Floyd.

            Regardless, it keeps the hardcore fans happy.

Or hell, even a fight with Emmanuel Augustus and Zab Judah would be better than that crap. It takes two fighters to make a good fight and it gets on my nerves when Judah gets an undeserved spot on this card and people will automatically say, "Oh, what a good fight" without considering the opponent. As long as fans put up with that crap, we are going to get screwed time and time again.
              **** i would like to see GBP put a rematch between Maidana and Ortiz but that would be too good to be true because Ortiz can draw a pretty big crowd in So Cal.

                This would be a very good undercard. Looking forward to seeing Sakio back in the ring too. I would buy this if both fights landed on the card. Probably not if only one lands, and certainly not if neither do.

                Boxing fans like to see well matched fights and interesting cards. I would love to see this one come to fruition. It would certainly help to make up for cards in previous months that have been sorely lacking in this department.

                  I'd love to see so many good fights on the same card like that. Haymon and Mayweather should pay these guys some decent money to make sure all of the proposed fights happen.

                    I know that fight was a slug fest, but Ortiz is done in my view. Stick a fork in him. That fight ruined him. I want to see Maidana move on and fight someone else. You would think Golden Boy would reward him by putting him on a high profile PPV card like this. Hell, they are talking about putting Ortiz back on HBO without even mentioning anything about Maidana. I think if this undercard turns out to be what it's supposed to be then that's something I have to give Oscar props for. But I'm still willing to call him out on his bull****.
