Cotto > Erik Morales, Gatti and ODLH

of those 3 i think cotto will have serious problems vs gatti. the other 2 he can beat, hell tito beat oscar and cotto has better boxing skills over tito. morales will be a battle like nov 14 is gonna be so will see then how good cotto really is when that date gets here

No disrespect to these great fighters, but Cotto is a superior boxer than these three. The Cotto that fought Mosley would kill any of these three, and any WW or JW today (except P.Williams). With that said, it does seem like he is declining a bit, but we won't know to this next fight. I mean with Marg there was the plaster matter (that we do not know about), and with Clottey there was the cut. So I guess we will really see where Cotto stands on Nov 14th.

Just FYI, I am not saying that he blows Erik Morales, Gatti and ODLH out of the water. We all know they have certain areas where they excel over Cotto, but overall Cotto IS better.

I'm not the biggest DLH fan, but a prime WW DLH would force Cotto to take another knee and Morales is still going to be higher then him at the ATG list.

I'm sorry, i'm a cotto fan but i have to dissagree. I cannot say cotto is better than these fighters because of the weight class and they have not fought. We have to go by fact and right now as of today...Cotto is better than Clottey, mosley, gomez, judah, etc, etc. He is better because he has shown that he has beaten them. Right now he is not better than margarito, until he beats margarito, the same thing about floyd or pacman or berto, etc. Common sense people. That's like saying Tyson is better than ali, etc.

O.o really? Please tell me you are kidding. Tito BARELY beat DLH and most think he lost it, now Cotto might be a better boxer than Tito, but Tito had the power to make DLH think twice before trading with him, Cotto does not, prime for prime Cotto gets ****ed up by DLH and takes a knee. If Morales was a JWW or WW then he would beat Cotto as well.

Look at the records and judge by the records. Only fighter that is better than cotto is Margarito. If pacman beats cotto, then he is also better than cotto.

No, but Douglas wasn't the top fighter like DLH until he beat Tyson and we all saw what happened to him when he fought Holyfield (Douglas). Prime DLH would have outboxed and beaten Cotto by late TKO or KO.

Yea that is true, but he didn't seem as dominate as some make him seem against Clottey or Mosley, he won, but he isn't what some of his nut huggers make him out to be.
