pac is the challenger in this fight at the weight they're fighting at.......how the hell would have a belt at ww when this is his only 2nd after fighting hoya who was a non champion himself?....

Like I have said before pac is not putting anything outthere he is being greedy and has all the advantages, now if the split was 50-50 then i wouldn't see anything wrong him demanding the title but he wants the bigger share of the money, picks weight, and now demands title wtf. DLH did it once but he was putting his title on the line pac is not giving up nothing and sadly if he wants to try to make history he should do it fair and square now if he was fightin for jr welterweight title and did it at a catchweight I wouldn't have a problem since he already won a jr welterweight title but right now he is trying to make history cowardly.

Whats worst they want to force cotto to defend a welterweight title without allowing him to weight 147 which are the rules. Sadly thats why there aren't more boxing fans like it used to because it has become all about the $$$$$$

I understand what you are saying and if you noticed on my post i wrote "if i was Cotto" which i'm not, meaning that i would say "NO" to this just like you suggest. My comment are not directed to the weight agreed either, i beleive just like you do, that 145 won't hurt him.

I'm just upset with the WBO (Francisco Varcarcel) to try to put a WW title online for a fight that is not representing the rules of the WW divsion which is from 141 to a maimum of 147. In other words he is bending his own rules just to ca$$$h in.

I don't blame Pacman for being demanding and won't blame Cotto for accepting (which IMO he shouldn't) I blame the WBO for "forcing" their champion to put his title at risk under a non-official regulation 141-145 for which the title does not represents.

Yes it is getting old but what i'm tring to express is not about the catchweight, it's about a WW divsion title being involved under non-official WW division rules.

I will enjoy the fight and thanks to the boxers for the catchweight agreement because if not we would not probably be seeing this exciting fight with these great warriors.

Pacquiao is the best fighter on the planet. All Cotto can do is bark like a dog and follow what Pac wants. Pac sacrifice himself selling cigarettes from today being an accomplish fighter. You have the nerve to say that. Cotto is lucky to get 35-65 share.. DLH defended his WBO gift decision over Sturm. Cotto is the luckiest man on earth fighting Pacquiao 1st instead of Mayweather or Mosley getting a shot coming off a KO and gift decision over Clottey. Not to mention winning that WBO BELT against MICHAEL JENNINGS!

Title or no title,catchweight or not the Pacquiao express stops here. Look, I like Pac he's a class act and a great fighter but it amazes me how many people have boarded the Pac-mania train, mostly because of his destruction of Ricky Hatton and sure the DLH win too. They believe that Pac has become this unstoppable force an immovable object if you will and I just don't see it. Don't get me wrong, the dude is good ,he is an excellent fighter and deserves a lot of respect as does Miguel Cotto but Pac is no GOD. He's not one of the untouchables,he is not going to creme every opponent he faces, he faces defeat just as much as the man standing opposite him. I mean c'mon this is boxing right. Anyways, Cotto to win by a vicious KO in an epic battle. BELIEVE IT

if its not a title fight, theres no reason to fight cotto. manny needs the belt coz hes fighting for legacy amd history, and he deserves to fight GREAT fighters like pbf(the only thing that i dont like about him is hes a RUNNER) and marquez(1 of my idols, AN ALMOST PERFECT BOXER like manny, better than pbf), cotto is just "good". of course, cotto's supporters will disagree with me, ill understandf coz all of you love him.
