the fight is between 141-147 so its a legit title fight. cotto wins by 7th round stoppage from body work.

if it was between 140.01 and 147 it would be legit. seen as tho its only to 145, it isnt right IMO. bit of a cheap way to challenge for a title when you are making the holder weigh in under 147.

yeah, i like whats manny is doing, in fact manny has nothing to gain if he beats cotto except for that illustrious 7th division world title, almost all people considered cotto as a "damaged goods", if cotto insisted that he dont want to put title on the line, manny should look for another opponent, theres shane mosley whos never been stopped througout his career, that will be a big achievement if manny will be the first one to do it and willing to put his WBA title on the line.
