    145.

the catchweight is a deal between the fighter's camps.

has nothing to do with the boxing orgs.

all the boxing orgs care about is that the fighter be under 147 to win/retain it.

I thought the 39 year old Hopkins fight against DLH was at 156 instead of 160? How can it be for a 4 Belts WBC,WBA,WBO,IBF + Ring Belt unification for middleweight supremacy?

this is the only way it should go....a title fyt!!
pacman is fyting for legacy and history.....why deny him a 7th belt?!
the only man who doesn't care bout the belt is oscar dela hoya.
oscar's 6 division belts will be surpassed my midget manny!!
oscar could have whispered to cotto, during their round of golf, not to put miguel's belt on the line. hekhekhek

If Pacquiao wants the best, he should allow Cotto to come at 147 during weigh in...

147 is limit yes, and as long as Cotto weighs not more than 147, the fight should get going... Pacquiao on the other hand can come in whatever weight he want not over 147... If he really want it, there should be no issues in weights provided its not over the 147 limit...

michael marley quoted valcarel: "cotto and manny can pay $150k each while top rank will cough $40k = total of $340k."
in another conversation, paco valcarel even further said that arum beforehand said that he will shoulder all sanction fees."

it should be for the title, 145 is welterweight. i mean how can 2 freaking pounds matter. thats one kilo. i can probably lose 2 pounds after 2 hours in the sauna or something. its no big deal.

if pac wants it, arum cant do anything but to give-in to pacs demands. im still hoping that this will be a title fight

you still argue about the catchweight when both fyters already agreed on it.
cotto will put the belt on the line.....i promise!
not only manny who wants the belt...the boxing fans in general want that belt.
possibly manny's 7th in as many diferrent divisions...legacy and history!!
