The belt was never mentioned when they agreed at 145... don't get me wrong, I'm a Pacfan but demanding the belt and catch weight at the same time is like taking all advantages away from Cotto and giving it to manny, which is not fair for me... as boxing fan...

I called this fight being for the title as soon as people were saying it wouldnt be. Its too historically signifiant.

Cattchweight title fights have happened in the past there's no reason why they wont happen in the future. Nobody will cry about this a year from now.

Catchweight fights have happened before thats true but the other side has put up something like dlh against hopkins dlh had his title at stake, what does pac has on stake?? nothing he has all the advantages has more money of the split, has weight advantage, advantage of fighting a fighter that doesn't look that good anymore as he one was.

Also he wants to make history doing it the easy way damn lol why does bonds gets criticize for taking steroids wasn't that the easy way to break the record also??

Usually when catchweight happens one side is giving something and the side asking for a catchweight is giving something in return like I said dlh did a catweight against hopkins but he had his title on the line so hopkins agreed for him 2 pounds wasn't a big deal considering if he won he unified all the titles and would become the first boxer to unify titles of all 4 major sanctioning bodies so hopkins agreed because he wanted that also. Like i said now going to pac and cotto. What does cotto get in return if he beats pac??? nothing just money and also to say pac is taking the bigger split.

If Pac want to be a legit title fight no matter what you say about the WW limit the fight had to be at 147 if he want to be at 140 that night so be it but he has to let Cotto go 147 and the Pac camp dont want that... WW is WW if he dont want that go back to 130

Cotto should just vacate the damn thing, and make everybody including the WBO ******.

If Cotto vacates the bs belt, he wont have to pay sanctioning fees, is simple as that.

Pacquaio has wants his cake and eat it too. you cant have a catch weight and a title bout at the same time... if he wants the title then he should go up to the full 147 like the WBO rules indicate. Cotto should defintley despute this.
