He wasn't "blown out", he suffered an injury and couldn't continue. I'm sure he would otherwise have been competitive with Ray Austin.

Golota needs a final payday to retire on, and fighting Adamek in Poland will give him that.

Here's the fight. That's blown out to me. He was stunned early in the first and also dropped not long after. That has nothing to do with an injury. He got caught and got hurt. Not to mention he goes down on the first punch...

He had to quit because of an injury, but he was taking a beating before hand. This fight is a joke in terms of a match up, it just makes good money, but Adamek should fight cunningham first again.

Golota had the use of only one arm in much of the round, and so he wasn't able to defend himself from Austin's attack. But he didn't go down again.

I don't blame Adamek for seekin higher paydays at HW I guess, and I think he can mos def take Golota at this point. But I don't see him goin too far at HW. Assumin Haye got a belt, that's a fight he can win. But I wouldn't pick him over the K bros.

He went down on the first punch and was hurt for pretty much most of the round. Also he went down a second time (that might have been called a slip, but it looked like a punch)

That "injury" (aka Golota being overwhelmed and basically saying **** this) had nothing to do with Austin catching clean with the first punch.

I agree completely the powers that be should have forced a rematch,i cant believe hbo did not push for that fight.

Austin was in great shape and came to fight. Golata's injury was serious and medically documented, he had only the use of one arm for part of the round.

Which doesn't ****ing matter when Golota gets caught with the first punch and is hurt the rest of the round. You can tell he never fully recovers.

And show me where it was medically documented coming into the fight?
