I don't think so. I think it takes a lot for a man to break down and cry and maybe he was telling the truth...who knows.

All I know it will be interesting to see what Marg does in his comeback.

I wonder if there is any truth to this and IF it happens, what effect it will have on Marg.

I think Roach is a hell of a trianer and that would help Marg out immensly. Not that Capetillo isn't a good trainer but I think Roach is on another level.

          What you guys think?
this has been rumors even after a month losing to shane. freddie expressed his willingness to train margo. i think hes giving margo a benefit of the doubt.

I don't know man, I think some people find it easy to do that and it's harder for others.

I will say it again, I don't know what Marg did or didn't do but I would like to see him come back and see if he can straighten his career out.

Me too. About a week or so after Mosley-Margarito and the whole handwrap controversy Freddie called in to Friday Night Fights. He was talking as if he was almost certain Margarito loaded his gloves because he said he had a fighter (Rashad Halloway, though he didn't mention his name then..later Halloway came out and said so during an interview on this very site) who had an orbital bone shattered in a sparring session with Margarito under unusual circumstances. Now all of a sudden he's willing to work with Margarito, when not too long ago he was one of the main ones adding fuel to the fire that Margarito had been cheating all along. Hearing that Freddie is willing to even considering working with Margarito makes me question his honesty and integrity.

I dont think it would help much even if it were true. Much like Pacquiao...Margarito's pretty much on the last leg of his career and should wrap up within a year or 2. Not nearly enough time to do anything too significant with any supposed improvements roach would bring.
