Is this rumor true???

I was talking to a friend of mine that is a fellow trainer. He actually has moved up in the world of boxing and does a lot of fights here at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL.

He was telling me that he spoke to some of the trainers and that some think that Freddy Roach will take on Antonio Margarito once his suspension is done with.

I wonder if there is any truth to this and IF it happens, what effect it will have on Marg.

I think Roach is a hell of a trianer and that would help Marg out immensly. Not that Capetillo isn't a good trainer but I think Roach is on another level.

What you guys think?

I don't know much like Roach said about Hatton....Marg is a verteran of over 10 years and trying to teach a puncher who comes forward how to box or do something different won;t be easy to reprogram him at this point. i think Roach might think of a less detecable substance to lace Tony;s handwraps with...****e that might help him out.....Lefty

I saw Margacheato next to his trainer in Latin Fury 10 so I doubt that rumor is true.

We can only see if it's true or not when he starts training.So far it's what it is....rumors.

Personnally I think Margocheato will keep Capetillo.

A lot of people are telling Marg to seperate himself from Capetillo so even though they were together, I wonder if/when Marg comes back, he will stick with Capetillo.

I know it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks but I think Roach could be good for Marg to be honest with you.
