some people are so supportive of a fighter and a fan of a fighter that they are no longer a fan of the sport. if that fighter then does something bad for the sport, something detrimental to the support then its ignored, overlooked or even worse justified.

nate also points out how the lineage claims is a load of bull as well - i.e. PBF comes back and hes seen as the lineal champ at WW!! how does that make sense? if lewis came back then he would be considered the lineal champ at HW and that just shows how silly the lineal title is.

its a shame because the lineal title was termed to avoid boxing politics and make it easy to identify who the best fighter in the division is, instead it seems to have been caught up in the whirlwind of politics.

Great interview. Boxing fan's average IQ is 94. That's why the sport sucks. These people grab on undefeated nuts and hype them buying their ppv before they are proved fighters. Ortiz anyone? whats so hard for him to understand that fighters like juan diaz get big fights because they have a big crowds behind them?
