Most Creative "Monikers" in Boxing.

i hate boxers or athletes in general who steal already taken nicknames;

flash (elorde)
nigerian nightmare (okoye)
dream (hakeem)
raging bull (lamotta)
sugar (robinson)
boom boom (mancini)
cobra (hearns)

all these nicknames are already taken & yet are still being re used by todays fighters.

Nonito's is the Filipino Flash though. It makes sense because his brother is the Filipino Bomber. It makes it sound like something special. Just dope ass nicknames.

yup, thats another one that got stolen. i think if a great figther or athlete possessed that nickname it shouldnt be used. especially the nickname flash b/c before pacquiao came he was considered the greatest filipino boxer.

it doesnt really matter these days. everybody lacks originality in terms of nickname & everybody uses old nicknames

doesnt make it right tho.

Which is why i made this thread. I've been watching some mma lately. Whether or not the fighter sucks some of those guys have some really amusing and original nicknames.
