Why Cotto wasn't able to stop Malignaggi like Hatton did?

The last time I check the scorecards was 112-115, Maliggnagi schooling him for several rounds.

Malignaggi never won a single round against Hatton. Hatton overpowered him all night long. That Hatton was coming off a TKO loss against Mayweather.

Alt if you watched boxing at that time you would know cotto was having major trouble making the weight. That was Cotto's last fight at 140.

yeah malignaggi sure was schooling cotto in that fight. your an idiot why dont you go live in the mountains and dont bother nobody. and to answer your dumb question malignaggi corner stopped the hatton fight something they should have done when cotto broke his orbital bone in there fight. so with your logic hatton beats cotto right.

What a ***in ****** the TS is.

            First off styles make fights.

Second off, the Paulie version of the Cotto fight was prime and undefeated.

            Third off, Cotto killed Malignaggi.

Look at Paulies face in their respective fights.

And fourth off, McGirt prematurely stopped the fight.

            Paulie didn't get stopped.

Two fighters on the same level. Cotto had the better of it.

Because McGirt threw in the towel.

Because Malignaggi put up more effort.

Because Cotto wasn't at his best.
