I don't think that's a secret move. I'm guessing pretty much all boxers use that move at some point. Oscar and even Mayorga used it when they fought each other.

DLH had his hands out in front of him and his right hand was swatted down and left him open for that jab.. Cotto keeps his hands closer to his temple and would be harder to swat.. I still think Cotto defensive flaw is he leaves himself open for uppercuts.. btw DLH fought like ass that night
