But observe this move against Hatton. It was the same move only in reverse.

    It removes cotto's "earmuff defense."
What the hell are you talking about? 'New Move'? Give me a break! Pac has always done that! I saw him do it against Marquez, Morales and in many other fights of his. It might seem new to you but it's something he has always done, though he may just do it more now.

It's called a straight left and a straight right! Wow! Totally secret new move! ****ing hell, this is embarrassing.

I love this crap that gets spouted about all these new secret moves that he supposedly does, when in actual fact he does the same thing he always has but just uses some things more and other less.

All in all, the only thing that is different about him is that he has become more cautious with his attack and tries to vary it more by using his right hand in combination more, but he still doesn't do anything 'new'.

You think he missed with a straight? I don't think so.

He did it on purpose to "swat" the "turtle defense." Watch again, he even pulled Hatton hand so that he can punch his forehead.

He's been doing that for a while, he actually needs to be careful of throwing that looping left hand from so far out like he did in the DLH gif, he dropped his right hand to come back up with an up jab but if Cotto can time him right with a left hook over that right hand, Pacquiao could be in trouble.

Although those are very good observations, at the same time they are all just basic boxing skills. What makes Pacquiao the great fighter that he is, is at the speed he is able to do it at, along with the power.

People don't understand that Pacquiao is a very risky fighter. The only reason he has so much power because he risks himself by putting everything he's got into his power punches, putting him off balance, etc. Luckily that's why he's got his feet. Almost a complete package.

But, we saw how he did with someone bigger than him, i.e. the first fight with Morales. The size got to him and that's what Cotto's going to have come fight night.

cottos key to victory would be coming in and going toe to toe..if he doesnt drop pacquiao before rnd 6 or 7 its over for him..he has to come in fighting fit and mentally ready.

Cotto's key to victory is having good film study sessions..

of course but manny fights 90% of the time like he always does..his style is good lots of heart and always on the attack..i wish cotto comes in with the same amount of faith and heart as marquez when he fought pacquiao.
