Vernon lost his life, when all he could have lost was his car.

And ANYBODY who would consider such a man a coward for ensuring the safety of himself and a child through allowing the attackers to take what they want, they have no moral or ethical values.

There's just no easy way to describe his situation and what he could or could not have done.

He could've just told them to let him get his son out of the car and they could take it.

Nobody can really put themselves in this situation and say what they would or wouldn't do because you don't really know until your in that predicament. Instinctively, one would put up a fight to defend oneself and lives of loved ones. That's fine and Vernon did that.

In fact, the guys took off when they realized he wasn't having it.

It should've ended right there and he would've gone home.

If they really wanted to, they could've just shot him on the spot AND taken the car.

But, he chose to chase them AND now his son is fatherless.

Don't be ****** by the way, your life is more valuble than any object you own. He should have let them go then call the cops and tell them the number plate etc, chances are they would have found the car eventually anyway but don't dwell on the past. Vernon was a boxer, boxers are warriors.
