Damn Vernon, I know you probably thought that you were prepared for something to happened and thats why you had a gun but you still shouldnt shouldnt pull it unless its absolutely necessary and you definatly shouldnt chase after anyone. It was probably all over once they started running but you chased them for what? Im not blaming the victim at all but I use to carry my gun all the time until someone convinced me that guns rarely protect and most of the time they will just end up escalating the situation because youre not going to back down from anyone if you have it on you. You double the reasons why you shouldnt do it7 or 8 shots? Thats crazy.
You know what though? I was just about to rip him even more and say that you doubly dont do anything when you have a child in the car with you but now Im going to do a complete 180. The child was the reason why he probably did it. He didnt want nobody to jack him and take off with the child. He wasnt going to let anyone get near that car, he didnt care if it was the biggest thugs ever. Not because of the care but because he had the child with him. Now I agree with his decision and I wouldve done the same thing. However, chasing them is a whole different story. He shouldnt have done that and its probably what cost him
