It happens all the ****in time. Would you put your sons life into the hands of crooks that are probably high on crack, or would you try to prevent the kidnapping and possible murder of your son if you were strapped?

I'll tell you one thing if I had a gun on me and someone tried to steal my car I would give it up quick unless the turned around on me, but If my kids were in the car and they attempted to kidnap them I would go out guns blazing.

Where does the story imply that they were gonna kidnap his kid? Even still they ran away and he still went after them with a gun.........someones always gonna get hurt in that situation. What was he gonna do? Shoot them? And go to prison? Either way, his son suffers.

No you see here in America if you are confronted with a gun and kill the crook in an attempted robbery you get praised. Unlike in the UK where you get a hefty sentance if you end up killing a burgler. The laws here are different my friend.

I dont think thats how it works. He chased them down after they ran away. It wasnt self defence. If he'd have caught them and killed them, I doubt he'd be getting a medal.
