Manny's speed is top notch but the guys that tired out Cotto was because Cotto was back peddling and throwing sick a$$ combos the entire time and he was connecting consistantly. Manny's beard is what has to hold up for him to push Cotto to the limits...and I for one do not believe Manny's beard is made of the same substance of Margarito's beard. Just an observation that should be noted.

I'm willing to bet on a Cotto loss, not a Cotto KO unless the odds are very good for me. I know it's a gamble saying that Cotto will be knocked out.

very true, I just don't see PAC putting any real pressure on cotto with the diff. In body, size & weight I don't think PAC will be very long on the ofencesive. But I'm not saying PAC can't win but no way by stoppege

I agree with you in a certain way, because i'm not sure if he gets tired after the 6th round or is he taking some rounds off because he has been in front on the cards. The fight that he seem less busier in the lat rounds than the 1s six round were Mosley, Margarito and Clottey. Cotto was clearly in front on the scorecards in the 1st rounds and probably he took a rest just to finish strong in the last championship round and managed the victory with the exception of Margarito which might have been because he was probably getting hit with something ilegal, we will never know.
However in fight like Judah and Paulie, Cotto didn't have that clear advantage in the 1st round so he had to fight more during the middle rounds which he did.

Against Pacquiao, Cotto will not afford to do that because we all know that Pacquiao is a warrior and like Roach said, he will be trying to wear Cotto down from round 1. Cotto will have to control Pacman's pace with that strong stiff, quick jab in order to establish his game plan. Another thing that Cotto might take advantage is that Pacquiao throws punches sometimes off balance and because of Cotto's strenght he cant afford to do that in this fight.
It will be a great fight of 2 true warriors and if Cotto is not able to control Manny with his jab to set up his offense or at least control Manny's offense, it will be a long night for him.

That's what also i have been thinking the way Roach plans & the strategy he likes to apply...Cotto doesn't have the stamina in a fast paced competition as what has happened in his past fights w/ Margarito & Clottey...I smell a knock out & excitement when Roach started to talk about incoming fights involving Pacquiao...

speed is still pacquiao's biggest weapon going head to head with cotto. pacquiao will avoid cotto in the first five rounds when cotto can still block pac's punches. pacquiao should avoid cotto's body punches and right straights. but cotto can't avoid getting hit with pacman's left-hand-lead jabs. pac's right is as dangerous as his left. the genious of roach and pac's ability to disable cotto's weapons will be evident as the fight progresses.

when pac started to throw left-hand lead jabs and move either to cotto's left or right it will confuse cotto. as a result cotto will be on the defensive end giving pacquiao enough room to throw more punches. when cotto covers himself, pacquiao will unload a dozen punches before disengaging himself from cotto. this will frustrate cotto.

i saw pacquiao winning inside six rounds.

i just can't see manny hurting cotto.cotto took anfonio margacheatos punches and did'nt get knocked out. cotto stopped the fight because he knew something was up with margachitos hands.and with a bad cut he took clotteys.both hits harder than pac. cotto will take pacs punch well then counter.
