I want to ask a question! For all those that think Manny is a great fighter then tell me who has he beaten that no one hasn't beaten already? Didn't Zahir Raheem beat Morales before him, Junior Jones beat Barrera before him, Kendall Holt knocked out David Diaz before him, Freddie Norwood beat Juan Manuel Marquez before him. Floyd knocked out Hatton before him and beat Delahoya before him. Now tell me who has he beaten that someone already has beaten.

Why do people keep counting Cotto's speed out in this fight. Doesn't anyone remember Cotto Vs Sugar, Quintana, and Juda. Cotto has the speed and he is a great counter puncher also. Don't get me wrong, I like Manny. He is a great fighter. But I just don't see him out working and or keeping Cotto going backwards.

They said the same thing about Sugar's handspeed vs Cotto. But Cotto neutralized Shane's speed with his timing. I think Roach is mistaken.. Cotto is by far the better boxer. Manny has speed and thats it... a far as power.. I can't believe he said Cotto has little more power. Cotto is not going to fly in there with his hands down like Hatton did. HE is a sound technical boxer with good patience and ability to cut off the ring. He can also get different looks by switching stances as he did with Judah and Clottey. The big punch that gets Cotto in trouble is the upper-cut. Manny doesn't have a rep for throwing a mean upper. Manny has a great straight right hand and he likes to lead with it to keep his opponents off balance from time to time. Manny also leaves his head open while throwing and often likes to throw multiple punches while having no guard. Cotto's timing, punching power, technique, and patience will be too much for Manny.

Cotto wins by KO in 5 or 6.

i just can't see manny hurting cotto.cotto took anfonio margacheatos punches and did'nt get knocked out. cotto stopped the fight because he knew something was up with margachitos hands.and with a bad cut he took clotteys.both hits harder than pac. cotto will take pacs punch well then counter.

He landed about 50 punches to the body in the Clottey fight according to Compubox. Granted isn't as much as I would have though but he was getting bombarded with right hands seeing as how that eye was near blind. He was landing about a 4 per round average, for Manny I'd like to see that around 10 at least.

I'll have to check that fight out again. I don't recall how many body punches Cotto landed according to CompuBox, but he certainly didn't land anywhere near 50 meaningful body punches in that fight. I don't think he landed 5 meaningful body punches in that fight.

Freddie Roach and Manny is so full of ****! That is so simple, Roach is saying that they want to start the fight at a fast pace. That's the quickest way to make a fighter use his energy early especially if he had problems making the weight. So all Freddie is hoping is that Cotto gets weak. Manny is a weak ass fighter and he doesn't have no boxing skills. Why wouldn't Manny fight Mosley when Mosley offered to come down and fight at 140. He didn't accept that because he's afraid that Mosley can make the weight without being weak. He's afraid that's his ass. Like Nate Campbell said. Manny is nothing special.

cotto only have to weigh a lb less from his last fight. Too early to make alibi. You already accepts that cotto gonna lose.
