I've heard some sparring stories but they're only rumours. As far as I know, Kessler has never been down as a pro but then again he hasn't taken too many big punches either.

kess has never been down since he was a pro and id bet that he was very rarely down as an amateur as well.
its hard to say just how good his chin is because he doesn't get tagged very often and doesn't seem to want to get tagged very often, he doesn't put himself into that position. his footwork is what helps him get in and out very quickly.
andre ward hit miranda repeatedly with good shots but he couldn't take him down and miranda is not seen as having a solid chin (KO'd by pavlik and AA). not only that but greene said recently that alot of wards opponents say he doesn't have alot of pop behind his punches.
i dont see ward KO'ing kess, im gonna go for kessler by KO 7.Comment

Kessler will stand up to Wards shots, it's Abrahams punches im worried about.
I'm picking Kessler to stop Ward and win the tournament but the layoff hay have had an effect so we'll see.Comment

i think this fight will be similar to kessler-mundine only more in favour of kessler, he had a bad back against mundine.Comment
