To be fair to Hatton, Cortez was a DISGRACE that night. Mayweather was doing at least 80% of the holding and kept using his elbows. Mayweather also hit Hatton when his back was turned! Hatton did the same, except didn't actually hit Mayweather (the punch landed on the ropes) and Cortez docks a point from Hatton. What a joke Cortez is - a sickeningly bad referee.

I know what people are getting at though when Hatton is like "Yer, wrong socks, yer came in too heavy, yer lucky punch.... um.... yer No excuses though best man won!"

a lot of top fighters make excuses in defeat,im sure its very hard losing a fight you have trained extremely hard for and were certain you would win,cant be easy.

I still think Hatton can beat alot of top 140 fighters out there, he lost to Mayweather and Pacman, the 2 best pound for pound fighters around now, theres no shame in that. People might slag him down but at least he had the guts to fight the best!

Dont forget Hatton had a problem with the air conditioning when he fought Urango
He had a virus for the Lazcano fight
He had problems in the camp for the Mayweather fight because Mayweather trained him too much,Mayweather messed up because he shouldnt have taught Hatton to move his head.
