pacman don't mind if he's fighting for a belt or not. what is important for him is fighting and making millions of dollars out of that fight. he di not need that belt anyway. but for his own sake, the belt should be at stake. history is at stake for pacquiao, his 7th title in different weight classes.
i can't understand why arum is not insisting on a title fight.
i am going to try this very slowly since you have trouble understanding
141-147 is a range .... because it's more then one number, you listed the weights 141 to 147 .. that isn't a limit, it is a range which would include 142, 143, 144, etc .. all the numbers I listed are between that range you said
and to answer your question about the limit for Welter as it's been said already is 147
if your having trouble understanding, think of it like you would a speed limit .. something you can go up to, but NOT over
147 is the welterweight max
max is short for maximum, which also means limit
and if you don't believe me, here's Welterweight defined for you
a boxer or other contestant intermediate in weight between a lightweight and a middleweight, esp. a professional boxer weighing up to 147 pounds (67 kg).
The definition of your above given explanation was not specifically defined...There are specific limits and range in every weight division to consider...140 lbs. is the specific weight limit for a junior welterweight any additional pounds or over this weight will be considered a welterweight w/c has a limit of 147 lbs, so any weight within the range of 140 - 147 is a welterweight...Here is a link of the list in different weight divisions for everybody sake ( http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php/Weight_divisions )...
contract's not signed...this fight should be scrapped...PAC-PBF needs to happen
PAC-PBF??? this would not happen unleast PBF is man enough to face Pac! This means, PBF should acknowledge Pac as now the man and the P4P #1, and by this, he should accept lesser share, let's say 35% for PBF, and this fight would surely happen! BUt if PBF cowering to Pac, then he is in his right tract to torpedo this possibility by insisting his lion share, so Pac would surely not going to bite it!
