6 a round? wow you are very generous i had calzaghe landing like 15 punches the whole fight when i slowed it down. besides a few taps to hopkins head while they were clinching he didn't land a real punch till the 4th round lol.

Calzaghe is a lot better than Tarver. So I doubt it......maybe if he was like the guy in the 160 days, but that's about it. my 2c.
joe was 36. that's 7 years younger than hopkins so yes he was younger.

43 is alot worse than 36. You surely can agree with me here can't you?

As close as that fight was and Hopkins being at such an advanced age it's pretty clear to me who would've won had they faced off when B-Hop was 41 or below.

        Agree to disagree I guess.

Calzaghe was at the end of his career though, like Hopkins.

At 36 Hopkins was at his peak, and began slowing down right after.

Calzaghe landed punches too. Maybe not in the style of Hopkins but a punch landed is a punch landed.

I still laugh at the "O ****" face Hopkins made in that fight. Simply Priceless .
you said hopkins lost cause he clinched 160 times. and there's nowhere in judging that says anything about clinching so i'm guessing you just added that rule. clean punching, defense, effective agression, ring generalship, and dont clinch!

also you keep claiming calzaghe was landing punches but you really should watch it again cause he was barely landing anything.

My ass. Calzaghe could still fight and beat anyone besides B Hop right now. he just protecting his record.

Not a lot. Calzaghe defended titles against bums while Hopkins was picking on blown up WWs. So it evens out if you ask me.

Hopkins isn't all that, I hate when people bring up his bull**** ass age. He gets away with cherry picking.

he was forced into retirement rather than take on tough challenges. oh whoops i mean shot jones jr was his last great challenge.
