I said SORT of. Never said that he did fully. Just Somewhat. Read my post if you think I said fully..

        He's unique.

Pac's style was molded very early in his career with the mindset that he takes a punch to dish his own with all out power.

I think he's got a God-given talent but didn't have the opportunity to train properly like Floyd, Cotto etc. He trained without food and shelter and got himself a good coach in the middle of his career.

If he didn't have talent, he wouldn't be accurate and powerful with an awkward and seeming always out of balance style.

Can anyone name from other eras a style that appeared similar to pacquiao's. I'd be interested in checking out some of their fights.

I say pernell, but waiting to see how he does against welterweights. Pacman will always be an ATG at anything below welterweight, same as some other ATG fighters at the divisions they dominated. I guess that is why there are ATG at every divisions, which is fair. I cannot put pacman or sugar ray in same category as ali or a true bantamweight. This cotto fight should let us know where he stands. Remember everyone had tyson on a different pedestal before buster fight.
