Right now Pac is the biggest draw and face of boxing. A lot of people since the DLH fight that dont even like boxing have been talkin about how badass and exciting he is. It only helps the sport if he continues to win and be in big fights. It brings more exposure to the sport something that many thought wouldnt happen once DLH retired. Pac vs Cotto imo is the biggest PPV event since the floyd vs dlh fight. If Pac wins in exciting fashion then he will become a HUGE star in the US and an even bigger draw! It would build up Pac vs Floyd the biggest fight in boxing history and it would really hurt Floyd's legacy in the process if he continues to duck the fight with the "no 50/50" bull**** ***** excuse! Easily manny winning is better for boxing nothing against cotto!

Not that simple. The most beneficial thing for boxing wouldn't be the outcome, but the fight itself. The best for boxing (and us the fans) is if the fight ends up being a Castillo-Corrales type of fight.
