yet people ***** more about pacquiao's move....
Actually...im bitchin about Pacquiaos move myself. I mean I can understand Floyd being a ***** and trying to gain every advantage he can by making Marquez balloon up in weight. But in Pacquiao's case I actually see no point in the catchweight. Cotto will be able to make 145 just as comfortably as he could make 147 and weigh exactly the same on fight night. So there really is no point in it. May as well have made it 147 that way no ifs ands or buts about the belt being on the line.

That's why there shouldn't be any "Supers" and "Jrs" in these divisions..there would be MANY more GREAT fights if it was 8 divisions instead of 20!..lol

i think its more of a psychological thing. i think pacquiao wants the cotto he saw fighting clottey, who came in at 146 lbs. the fight plan they're gonna come up with is for that version of cotto.

personally, i agree with you that 2lbs will not be the determining factor in this fight. this fight can be at 143 lbs and i don't think it would make any difference.
