lets see williams try and throw 1000 punches against someone who throws about 700 himself and with a lot more power.

william's wont have his usual advantages.

Lets see Pavlik throw 700 against someone who isn't a stationary target...

Well if manny Got a 65-35 against Cotto(Who is almost at the same level as a draw), Why ypu think Williams should get anything more than 30 against pavlik who is a bigger draw by miles!!
As someone said Williams is on a roll.

Williams is in the fight to make himself a house hold name. Pavlik needs the fight to reestablish himself. His last fight was against a low tier fighter.

The fight should be 60:40. I think 70:30 is an insult that's the sort of split mandatories and tune ups should get.

If you don't think someone is good enough to have a relatively equal split, I don't see the point in you fighting them and expecting people to take it seriously to be honest.

This is a bad fight for Pavlik. Pavlik has not fought many southpaws and when he did he had a very hard time with feet positioning and seemed somewhat out of sorts.

He had a very hard time landing his right hand against McKart. Now Williams does square up more than McKart did so he will be an easier target, but he will also be throwing 3x's as many punches than McKart threw. We all know the old saying, the best defense is a good offense.

You're acting like the cat is some kind of superstar and he's not. His fight with Taylor did **** on PPV and if he is this big name knocking ****s in the dirt his fight with Hopkins would've did a lot better on PPV. He just draws a crowd close to Ohio. Williams is ranked higher in the P4P list and he's on a better run right now. But I explained the other factors why I think Pavlik deserves the bigger share, but not practically all of the money. Damn.

Williams should take this fight because it will bring him more respect and money. Hell, for all we know that Ukranian dude in Sergei D. could be a better fighter than Pavlik and his name isn't worth anything over here.

id like to this fight...williams has been on a roll since that decision lost to quintana...i watched his fight with wright the other day and pwill is just insane with punches...this fight would be exciting with each fighter throwing a above average amount of punches...i think that williams would edge out pavlik in an exciting fight

i agree...they would probably make this fight at atlantic city...by beating pavlik a known name to a lot of casual fans would boost pwill's name, resume, and marketability in the U.S.

You mean like the 400 or so that Williams threw against Quintana in their first meeting? Don't act like Paul is all of a sudden some defensive genius, he has a great chin and throws punches in bunches, likes to fight up close and hunched over, and has decent power when he sits on his punches. This fight has all the makings of FOTY. Let's get it on!
