this would be an interesting fight ... pwill would prob ud pavlik, but the dealbreaker may be pavliks sledghammer of a right hand. i think pwill has a good chin but i dont think hes felt middleweight power like kelly's, so it'd be real interesting how he reacts to it ...

I was told this week that serious talks have been rekindled for a fall fight between middleweight champ Kelly Pavlik and Paul Williams, with HBO making a very strong offer. The question is, will the two camps, who don't exactly get along well, be able to agree on the split? We shall see, but my fingers are crossed because it's a great fight -- certainly a lot bigger than anything else either guy can legitimately make.

Obviously pavlik should get the bigger split. hopefully this fight happens it will be an interesting fight. i wana see both guys finally fight a decent opponent so why not they fight eachother.

P-Will took huge bombs against Quintana in the first fight and kept coming like nothing happened. Quintana got pop, was hitting him with full leverage, and Paul wasn't even seeing the left hand coming which is worse.

Williams improved his boxing skills since then, he has an excellent chin and P4P the best stamina, this'll be a war that he ends up winning by UD or a schooling he wins by UD. I need to watch Pavlik-McKart to see how Kelly does against southpaws before I'm 100% though.

I don't know how to call it. Williams style could be all wrong for pavlik but everyone needs to be real about one thing - Williams has never been hit at 160 pounds by someone with Kelly's power. If it doesn't knock him out it very well could knock him down or hurt him enough that his punch out put could drop dramatically.

But if his chin holds up he should be able to out point kelly.

50/50 fight imo.
