Never said I thought the contracts were fine, just that he had to expect that kind of deal, having barely fought in the division at all, and then slinging insults and being a general ****. King has little invested in Valuev, and with the odds of Haye winning being probably 7 to 5 or less, he's not risking much more than a piece of paper, so he could understandably give Haye a better deal than the Klitschkos were willing to offer him.

And I don't blame Haye for ditching both Klitschkos and taking on Valuev instead, either. The fight will be a better deal for him all the way around.

All I'm saying is that he took the wrong approach in how he tried to get a fight with one of the Klitschkos, and the contracts they offered him showed it.

Well then I'm glad he found a better deal. Truthfully, you'd be surprised what kind of contracts some of these guys get. For instance, GBP is known for screwing you if you aren't a huge name - and I mean SCREWING. I actually have much greater respect for Haye for not doing it. I was stunned he agreed to those terms against Wlad initially.

He was LYING about the terms. Why is that so difficult to understand?

Haye's cost them money, wasted their time, and generally *ucked them over. In business, it's considered very SHADY to make a verbal agreement with one party while simultaneously being in negotiations with another.

They may never want to do business with him again, unless he really proves himself at heavyweight.

Haye has proven himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy.
Lol nice way of trying to spin the article Tunney, HBO have zero right to be pissed with Haye because he didn't sign any contract, this even show that HBO is more interested in Seeing haye than the klits....another thing is HBO are business people and they're alway ready to deal with boxers that bring money in.
