HBO disappointed with David Haye

If he beats Valuev, he's almost guaranteed a call from Wlad opening negotiations to unify. What kind of terms Wlad will be offering the second go 'round, I wouldn't even want to guess, but they should be better than the first go.Comment

Haye will not have fought for a year in November. How does he manage to live so well? Where is his money coming from?
He will disappoint his fans over and over again. I feel sorry for them.

You should never, ever insult any human being by suggesting they are similar to King. King, in my opinion, needed a bullet in the head about 50 years ago. He's done more harm to boxing than any other dozen people combined. And ruined the lives of hundreds of fighters and family members.Comment

HBO is losing their stranglehold on boxing telecasts. I like that.
They can become the Golden Boy Network for all I care; boxing fans will find a way to see Haye vs. Valuev.
HBO controlling who fights who based on projected TV ratings instead of good matchups, what's good for the sport needs to end ASAP.
Let's keep in mind that they've let Wlad and Vitali fight on Showtime once a piece now and let their other defenses end up on ESPN Classic. They're no friend to anyone in the heavyweight division right now except for Chris Arreola and they'll desert him once he's KO'd by someone.Comment

But he'll have HBO on the leash if he beats valuev
Haye like him or not is a much more lucrative fighter for the network than any other hw except maybe wlad. If they let Showtime snatch him due to business ethics theyll regret itComment

This is so short-sighted, I don't even know where to begin. But seeing as how you thought the contracts doled out by the Klitschko's to Haye were just fine, I'm not surprised. But I bet you wouldn't feel the same way if it was King who served up that kind of contract, right? You should never, ever insult any human being by suggesting they are similar to King.
