Well it's either Valuev-Ruiz III, or Vitali-Ruiz. I honestly cannot choose which one excites me more... ****, I really can't! Can we have both consecutively, please?
You missed the point of my opening post. If Vitali KOs Ruiz we will likely have seen the last of him.
But that still means Ruiz gets Vitali all to himself for the rest of the year, hence the latter being an even older man going into 2010. Hell, he might even retire before then. It's not what the boxing world wants to see. Ask the majority of diehards and casuals who aren't arselickers, and I'm positive they'll all say "Vitali-Arreola for 2009!"
If one really wants to see the end of Ruiz, put him in against Povetkin in September. That should keep everyone happy, and send Ruiz into retirement.

Ruiz and Valuev seemed evenly matched in both their fights. How in you mind is Valuev such a good opponent for Haye and Ruiz so bad for Vitali?
Because Haye-Valuev will get everyone talking across the world, whilst Vitali-Ruiz will just result in facepalms and sighs. The former is fun, the latter isn't. It's not what the boxing world needs or wants - do a survey and I'm 100% sure everyone would say "That loudmouthed Haye should fight the ****** hairy giant, and big mean Vitali should fight that cool fat guy Arreola". Everyone's sweet.

Ruiz is the closest thing to a credible opponent available, unless Arreola decides to not fight Maskaev in early October.
I'll agree with you there, but I'd prefer to see even Kevin Johnson get a shot rather than Roo-easy. How about both Maskaev and Ruiz wipe each other out?
