So here's a question: Klit fans wanted Haye to prove himself before fighting them

thats what i was wandering, just read bits of another thread, apparently Haye stopped negosiations with Vitali when they were nearly finished, and done a deal with don king to fight Valeuv instead.

Haye talked himself into a klit fight saying that he wanted to fight the best and that it was the klits he was after. He verbally challenged them as well as having obscene (yet funny) pictures on his t-shirt.

After pulling out with an 'injury' he gets a fight with Vitali in September. Everything including venue is ready. And now he opts to fight Valuev in NOVEMBER leaving Vitali out to dry.

It may be better for Haye financially in the long term but Haye fans must admit that Haye looks BAD and that this is a legitimate DUCK. It cannot be denied.

Of course its a straight out 'duck'. One minute he said he wants to fight the best heavy's and not the other bums in the weight (and he named Valero as one of these bums).

He needs to keep quiet now; the Klitchsko's should rip him to pieces now.

Okay, I just read through a lot of threads just to get to where most people are now, If the Valuev fight is better financially and long-term wise then Haye should go for that fight, The Klits asking for options is normal since he hasnt done anything to deserve a shot at them but that doesnt mean the Klits have to ask for ridiculous options.

If Haye can give options to DON KING then you know the klits have been greedy with the option thing....In closing yes Haye looked bad because the Vitali fight is nearly signed but he had a better offer so why not??

im split on this one. I thought Haye had a chance against Wlad but was gonna be destroyed against Vitali, but was looking forward to either fight.

I cant stand Valeuv and hopefully Haye can beat him and send him into retirement forever. Thats a big plus.

It'll also give him valuable experiance fighting a much bigger opponent which should improve his chances against the (now older!) Klit brothers.

However i've seen a few interviews from Haye saying that he had no interest in fighting the giant at all, and called him a joke and said it was pointless, i'll try and find a clip and post it if i can.

Duck, no question about it imo. But it could be a smart one, especially if he fights one or both brothers after (if they will have anything to do with him, he cant get a mandatory being the WBA champ so he cant force them to do business in the future)

Also you can call Haye a ***** all you want, but originally he is now doing what you guys wanted him to do.

The options he was getting were terrible. He'd have to fight in a rematch, then the other brother, then the other brother rematch. Haye is getting a better deal here for now.

They weren't doing him a favor either. Haye-Wlad or Haye-Vitali is the biggest fight for them out there besides fighting each other, so it makes sense for them too. They were just trying to take advantage because he hadn't earned anything (rightfully so, but if Haye has a better deal, he should take it)

Normally I don't think I'd have a problem with Haye's move. It's just all that talking and baiting from him and then when he finally gets what he wants he walks away

He talks the talk. He just didn't walk the walk.

Also now Vitali can fight Arrerola or maybe even Wlad. This actually gives better shot for Wlad-Haye to happen first, which it should. **** Vitali (no offense to his fans, I just don't like him and think it would do more for Wlad to beat Haye then Vitali beating him)
Decent question. Here's an answer. If you can fight and become undisputed champion of a division in just 22 fights (or less depending on the number of title defenses) then you are fighting in an empty division.

haye did not and DOES NOT deserve a chance at the Klitschkos but after all the **** talking he did most fans were putting that aside to demand that haye back it up. Instead he runs for a relatively light puncher who has a trinket that has haye salivating and thanking his stars that he did not have to get crushed by the Klitschkos.

I am no Klitschko fan, on the contrary, I hate those ****ers. However, David Haye's actions of the past couple of months are cringeworthy and make the man look like a scared *****.

I was (past tense) a massive Haye fan; someone who I was contemplating spending upwards of a thousand pounds to go to see and cheer on, but now he is just another loudmouth **** to me.

People complaining about the contract that he had to fight Wlad: Haye signed the contract. If he didn't like it, simple, don't sign it. After it was signed he went on one of the all time biggest trash talking promotions to sell the fight to mugs like myself promising a KO and wearing the now famous T-shirt. After all this build up he bitches out. There is no doubt in my mind that his claimed injury was nothing but a smokescreen to mask the real reason he pulled out; the demise of Setanta, which therefore meant no money. This to me at least is a ***** move, especially after the amount of **** he talked. But hey, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and when I heard rumours of a fight with Vitali I was again excited and behind the Hayemaker.

But yet again Haye has bitched out. **** him.

As I said earlier I have no motives behind an attack like this on Haye, unlike many of the Klit-nuthuggers who have posted. I just call it as I see it. If you talk the talk, you better be sure you can walk the walk.
