The question is,how come he didnt low blow Margarito? That was very uncharacteristic of Cotto.
You obviously never fought someone in the ring before. It's not what you think it would be. People try to move out of the way of your punches and they try to throw their own at you... I know it's hard to believe, but that's generally what happens. If you are a body puncher, like Cotto is, you are already aiming low. If a guy moves while you are throwing a shot, it might hit him a little low. I highly doubt he does it on purpose. The guy doesn't even like to clinch!!! I've been low blowed while sparring before. My opponent didn't mean to do it, he was throwing a body shot and I tried to throw a right hand at the same time- moved right into it.

Cotto wasn't throwing many body shots against Margarito and Mosley. Maybe that's why there wasn't an accidental low blow. Wow!

I forget which one wasn't low. Judah was definitely trying to milk it because he is a soft *****. However, there was one that was definitely low and it definitely hurt. It wasn't Cotto's fault though. Look at the reply, Judah moved up high. Cotto's shot would have landed higher for sure. You know he wasn't faking that one because he went right down as soon as he was hit.

The 1st one against Judah, when he was hurt, was barely low. The second one, when he wasn't hurt at all, was real, real bad.

The plan was to low blow margarito on the 10th round but he couldn't 'cause he was busy covering up and defending his face.

Cotto ran out of time on the 11th round to put into action is best defense (low blow) but instead took the easy way out and took a knee.
