How come Cotto did not low blow Margarito?

I'm a fan of Cotto and I've been following him a lot.Whenever things are not going well for him he low blows like he did with Judah,Clottey and a lot of other people. He normally does that to buy time.Against Mosley he didnt do it because Mosley had promised a tit for tat and also he wasnt really hurt in the Mosley fight.

The question is,how come he didnt low blow Margarito? That was very uncharacteristic of Cotto.

Because he wasn't throwing body punches. You're wrong about him doing it to buy time. That low blow against Clottey was hardly low. The 1st one against Judah was hardly low, and that was the one where he was hurt.

He's a body puncher, body punchers stray low sometimes. Against Margs he wasn't attacking the body. Margs threw a few low blows, but like Cotto, he wasn't trying to, it just comes with the territory of body work.

because he does not do it on purpose they are accidental. why are they accidental? because as you can tell in the margo fight he hardly ever went to the body there fore less chances to low blow. its just accidental.

Its his timing of the blows that are suspect, he never hits low until he is rocked, go figure.

He wasn't rocked against Clottey in the 12th....and that was hardly low, Clottey just bitches like no other.

Against Judah, the time he was rocked, it was barely low. The second low blow against Judah, however, was one of the most brutal low blows I've ever seen. But he wasn't rocked when he threw it, it was in the middle of an exchange and Judah pulled his head down.

But what about the times he was rocked, every time he went back down low, that just coincidence? Im not hating on him because I believe hey do whatever it takes to win, the ref is there to determine.

The only time he's ever gone low when he was rocked was in the 1st round against Judah. And that was hardly a low blow, plus he pretty much recovered by then. The second low blow against Judah was brutal though.
