The man accepted it with ZERO complaints so who gives a ****. This will be his biggest payday by far.

If that is Cotto getting "jobbed," I'm sure he'd like to get jobbed more, and laugh all the way to the bank.

who was all over the news after their last fight? Cotto or Pacquiao?

            Seriously, that should be considered.

When Pac KO'd Hatton, it was ALL OVER the news. Newspapers, TV, ESPN, etc. etc. etc. For the first time in a long time people were talking about boxing in a positive way, everyone was talking about how great Pacquiao is and how he would do against Mayweather. There were no mentions of retirements, deaths or how UFC is so much better, just plain old boxing talk. And it was wonderful.

Not to diss cotto in anyway, but mainstream media didn't talk much about his fight with clottey, if at all. That's just because he's not as big as a star as pacquiao. He did however get some pretty good press leading up to the Margarito fight, so he is a known name.

Pacquiao is the biggest name in boxing today since Oscar is retired. Floyd may regain that title but that's yet to be seen (will find about against JMM). No one else besides Floyd can get the main stream media talking about them unless it's negative (death, drugs, prison, retirement, etc.).

Now why in the hell should Cotto get more money when he's already earning more in this fight than what the #1 fighter in the world p4p earned fighting the biggest draw in the sport's history.
                You're over thinking it.

                Forget about Oscar.

These two aren't in his league.

They're a notch below. Packy has the heat so he should get more. But 65-35 is over valuing him and under valuing Cotto.

Cotto needs a better negotiating team around him.

The short answer is that Hatton/Packy got a 24/7 and Hatton is known worldwide.

While Clottey/Cotto got no 24/7 and nobody outside of hardcore fans know Clottey.

The devil is always in the details. You packy fans like to shortcut all the details and pretend he is more popular than he is.

Tony won the first fight and sold out Staples against a bum Mosley who can't sell out a H.S gym.

60-40 split in favor of Tony.

                    STFU w/ the cheating bull****.

                    He never cheated.
