I think the idea is people are seeing Cotto's last performances against Margarito and Clottey and saying he's shot. But look in comparison the style match ups compared to the type of fight Pacquiao brings. Cotto can contend with speed. Pacquiao IMO isn't THE fastest fighter we've ever seen but its more on his overall fighting ability. Speed can be contained by an accurate puncher with a jab (which Cotto has).

I'm still on the fence with who I think will win, but neither guy is beating the other with ease. It could come down to sheer will and both have proven they can fight under adversity.
i wasnt refering to cotto..just saying thats the mistake hatton and oscar made thinking strength will beat pacman

I don't know how accurate that is being as though...

Oscar didn't drain weight in this fight but dieted to lose the weight clean off which made him weak...I think he thought it would make him faster...that didn't work out for him to well....Oscar at 160 would have at least been packing more pop and more energy...if not just as fast as Oscar was on that night.

Ricky Hatton I don't exactly know how much he dehydrates to make the weigh in...but he's always looked pretty boney...and not to big...Manny seemed every bit as heavy as Ricky and just as tall.

Manny came in 16 pounds over the 130 limit againt JMM in there second fight....so he's been just as big as he is now for at least over his last 5 or 6 fights.

Cotto is not going to be playing Hippie Guru with some strange Yoga diet...Cotto is going to cut and blow up over night.

Make no mistake Manny has never been in with a fighter that out weighs him as significantly as he has out weighed his opponents at 130.

        This will be that test.

A younger,Bigger,Stronger man with world class talent at a weight that he can be comfortable making...If Manny can win this fight...he deserves all the credit in the world.
