manny was not dominating fights at 130 so what are you talkin about ? the only fights manny dominated were his recent 3 fights because even in his win to morales he was losing before stoppin erik and erik never really looked hurt more tired and frustrated, when he first beat barerra he did drop barerra a couple of times but he never seemed to hurt him either, barerra just looked frustrated after each knockdown but didn't look hurt
When's the last time Pac was down?

It's not been unknown to happen once in a blue moon, but I don't think it will in this case. :laff2: Mostly everyone's heavily polarised on the fight, barring the ones in the minority who commendably remain on the fence (I was one of them until recently).
I am normally, however, a pretty objective and easy-going soul with whom to have a discussion. :wnk1: I guess I'm just finding myself more and more polarised because I've always enjoyed Pac's work more than Cotto's (despite my respect for the latter otherwise).
Ah. I always thought it was the same as them calling him a monster - as in, some relentless killing machine that doesn't stop putting the hurt on his opponents. That's what caused me to bring up that point with disdain, since I highly disagree with both adjectives to describe him (more like I would use them to describe Margs or any nasty, come-forward fighter).
Along with promoters, I think rabid huthuggers (hence, not genuine fans) are the most to blame for any undue or deserved hype, because they effectively become the loudspeaker on behalf of a fighter. If non-fans wind up thinking "Ugh, it's hard to like that guy because of how irritating his stans are", it's hardly the fault of said non-fans. Then again, it's not the fighter's fault either.Comment
