He's just chasing dollars. He knows he can't beat the Klits. But he's having a hard time making big money fights and he sees light at the end of the tunnel of his career.
Dawson rematch is what I'd love to see. Cunningham rematch? Ehh, not so much. I think he settled that one pretty solid. At HW, a fight with Haye would be fun.
Disagree. Without the knockdowns, that's Cunningham's fight. He was winning most of the exchanges. Adamek was the better man with the better chin, but a rematch between Cunningham and Adamek makes the most sense.
A Haye/Chambers type body? You realize that their body types and sizes are completely different? Chambers is tiny compared to Haye, even at 208 lbs he still had a substantial amount of fat around his midsection.
If Wlad was Chambers' size, I would agree with you. But you seriously don't think if he was two inches shorter, but with the same arm length, that he'd be anywhere near world champ? That jab jab jab works when it's a top 5 HW jab of all time, and his defense these days is impeccable. You don't think if Haye had Wlad's jab and defense he'd have any chance of being world champ? The same guy that without them was Undisputed one weight south? Um, okay.
.
No i said i don't believe if Wlad was in Haye's body he would do anywhere near as good no doubt he would be pretty good. But the reason his defense is so good now is due (to stewards training) and fighting high with a great jab vs smaller guys like chagev they cant do ****.. due too the height.
I may have not understood how big Haye is then either he seems very small compared to them and i believed Wlad was 6.7 (6.5 according to that link.) It personally looks like alot more then 2 inches but anyway, ill change Haye for the likes off..
Chaguev, Chambers, Gomez, Peter if he had those guys kind of physique he would not be anywhere near what he is now with his Jab jab jab tactics. But anyway bit off topic i dont see anyone to challenge Wlad at the moment bar one very lucky punch same goes with Adamek.
When I first saw Adamek at 200 I was thinking 'where does he hide all the weight - he looks tiny'. However, after watching him develop into a very complete boxer I am looking forward to this move.
Adamek will be fine at heavyweight. He is a good boxer with underrated defense and hand speed. Expect him to put on a bit of muscle and come in around 210 (if they have any sense).
