How surprised would you be if Pacquiao dominated Cotto like his last three opponents?

David Diaz = Lazy and slow Lightweight, we all know that he was the worst lightweight champ at the time.

DLH = Drained, completely drained fighting a great opponent couldn't get worst.

Hatton = That's the only victory that deserves BIG respect. Hatton had being KOing good opponents and had lost before only against Mayweather. Pac attack was just too much for a "one sided" Hatton.

Cotto is as good as Hatton and he is not "one sided", Maybe he is on the road to be great. Pacquiao will have a hell of a fight, Nothing he can do will be enough to beat Cotto easy.

David Diaz = would still put my money on david diaz over juan diaz any day of the week.

DLH= he was not drained. was walkin around at 147 a month before the fight 4 cryin out loud. He was just old and undertrained.

I would be mildly suprised (less suprised then against Oscar and more suprised then against Hatton), I can see some reasons for thinking Manny would really beat up on Cotto.

I still think that early on Cotto will be effective and for him to win he has to really push Manny off his plan A and bring the pain because at some point he is going to start retreating/fighting off his back foot and once that starts I think Manny will really start to pound Cotto.

Manny does not really throw uppercuts though and that is a punch that Cotto is very vulnerable to, on the other hand I don't like Cotto's straight right hand which I feel is a punch that will really help in beating Manny. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and who can really find that money punch to work on the other.

You forget to mention that Cotto's guard is vulnerable to straight lefts as well, Manny's best punch.

That is why I think when Cotto starts moving away Manny will start to really beat on him, because Manny will really be able to extend with that left hand. The second that Cotto is forced into move away/fight off the back foot/retreat mode the fight is bascially over for him because Manny has enough stamina to not relent and allow him to really get off at all.
