No is not going to be a title fight.

Here is WBO president talking about the situation and Cotto's lawyer.

Some people are saying that Cotto will probably get stripped by the ****** WBO.

              it's alright.

that title was won in a vacant title bout against michael jennings.

              no lineal prestige whatsoever.

pac can go after shane's belt. that one means something.

If it couldn't be for the belt Pac shouldn't have bothered.

                  OMB wants to cook
The president of the World Boxing Organization (OMB), Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, said yesterday that it still is not ruled out the chance that Cotto Welter belt (147 pounds) from the body before the filipino Pacquiao.

"Wait and see," only said Valcárcel when asked about the consequences of the agreement he signed for his scepter Cotto is not at stake.

"They will see the light at the end of the road. All I can say is that we must assume that the fight will be for the title, "he insisted.

However, Gabriel Peñagarícano, legal adviser to the Criollo boxer said "I will not enter into a debate with the OMB or any other body. There is an agreement between the promoter (Bob Arum) and fighters. "

When asked if Cotto would give up his title, his counsel replied that he "has not been referred to" the possibility.
                  There you go.

it'd be great for history to win his 7th division belt...but would suck for the time being knowing Pac will vacate it after.
