Pacquiao vs Cotto is a title fight!

I have mixed feelings about catchweight for a title fiht, but i guess some of you need some lessons in history.

Hopkin-DLH for unified SMW @ 158 lbs.
Leonard-Lalonde WBC LHW @ 168 lbs.
Leonard-Hearns 2 WBO SMW @ 163 lbs.
Norris-Taylor WBC LMW @ 150 lbs.
Whitaker-Chavez WBC WW @ 145 lbs.

Funny the last one will parrallel the Cotta-Pac fight. Cotto will come in at 145 while Pac at 142 just like Whitaker and Chavez did.

A lot of these morons forget that 147 is the Welterweight LIMIT. It's sort of like the speed limit on the road. If the speed limit is 55, thats the most you can go without it being an infraction against driving law. The catch-weight is designed to lure Cotto into a fight with Pacman who is naturally lighter but the P4P king, thus translating into a huge payday for Cotto.

Of course it shouldn't be for the title. Since when can you not weigh 146 or 147 for a WW title fight? WW is 147. I'm sure the boxing dip****s will make it a title fight so there boy Pacquiao get more undeserved recognition.

147 is the limit, however it cant be classed as a welterweight fight because the boxers cannot weigh in at 146 or 147 which is within the welterweight limit. catchweights are bollocks IMO and should certainly not be a welterweight title fight.
