that time line cannot be denied. oscar offered hatton the fight. this is not a opinion, its a fact. there is video confirmation on youtube. hatton could have retired oscar but he was too yellow. manny took the chance.

thats all i was implying on the no guts no glory comment. manny had the guts to fight oscar at 147 ricky didnt. it was offered to ricky, ricky said no hes too big. took the paulie fight. thats the timeline/history.
woo woo woo i never pulled a car i just said that i dont like your attitude give the man the respect he deserves he dodged one fighter that you can name (or at least one that is worth naming) you got any other reasons for hating on hatton? or is it that he just dodged witter?

The new and improved Khan would put a schooling on Witter. First of all, his defence is poor compared to Kotelniks, and Khan will land at will. Plus Khan can hit hard enough to put Witter down or force a stoppage. Bradley had Witter down and hurt, so I'm pretty sure Khan can do the same.

Khan wins by a wide margin, or gets caught by a big shot and loses by KO

Hatton was clearly oscar's second choice. i have seen videos of hatton himself turning down the oscar fight because in his own words "oscar is too big & its clear in my fight with collazo i dont belong at 147."

Manny was oscar's 3rd choice after fraud jr & hatton. this is common knowledge.

So we have hattonfaithful admitting that hatton ducked witter & dirkdouchebag spewing lies about hatton not saying no to a oscar fight b/c paulie was already lined up bull crap.....

bump my ass. its u soccer hooligans masquerading as boxing fans that are revising history.

        boom comes the dynamite
How is it lies? Hatton and Malignaggi fought on the same card in Manchester to build their fight.

Floyd dropped out of the Oscar fight and they wanted Paulie to step aside. Clowns like you wouldve probably called out Ricky for ducking the best opponent in his division for a money fight with Oscar should he have taken that route.

Instead he went ahead with the Paulie fight and was expected to fight De La Hoya at 147 once he beat Pac......of course it didnt turn out that way.

Again.......how you can call Hatton gutless is beyond me

I've been hoping Hatton would reject all talk of a Khan fight to leave the way clear for Witter to get his payday (if he can recapture that vacant WBC belt next month).

Really hope Junior beats Alexander and gets this fight. He deserves it.

I'd agree with that. People don't seem to realise Kotelnik was a very tricky fighter. To UD him is a massive achievement. I see Khan counter punching Witter until he throws his own flurry of punches in the mid rounds... i.e. stoppage.

LMAO @ the bold. Really educated reasoning. Bradley is still a level above Khan at this point and he put Witter down with a single well timed overhand right when Witter was moving back with his chin up. Witter's awkwardness will give Khan hell, he won't just come to him and let him open up those straight combos.

But, okay, sure. Khan takes Junior to school. Wait and see.

I actually had Kotelnik beating Witter.

Witter does have power though which will alway be the question mark for Amir. But Witter is lazy as **** and often takes rounds off which you cant afford to do against someone with Khands handspeed and workrate.

Barerra thinks Khans punches are nothing.

Khan has only ko'ed blown up Super featherweights. Are his punches that much harder to ko a LW fighter? He has only put on 5 pounds.

He couldn't even KO Gairy St Clair.

I know he has had new training with Roach and that but how much harder can he actually hit?

His output is so great that his power doesn't matter.

The sheer amount of punches that Khan could land on Hatton or Witter would be enough to knock them down at least once.

Since Witter isn't that guy, I dont see Khan beating Witter or anyone with a killer instinct.
witter with a killer instinct haha you must be joking. he has never had such thing throughout his career and for years lived of hattons name untill he faced a more hungry fighter in bradley for his wbc title and lets not forget witter was knocked down in the 6th round so those who think that witter has a strong chin you must be joking when he was knocked down by feather fist bradley who has only 11 ko's to his name. at the end of the day hatton would of beat witter and i also feel that khan could beat witter thats if he gets past DA. A fight with junior witter is a step backwards for most fighters trying to make it big i.e and is definately a step backwards for established world champions who have fights with floyd jr in their sights i.e hatton.

As for those who think hatton v witter was a fight wanted by the british fans. what a load of rubbish he was and still is largely disliked amongst british boxing fans for his attitude.
